This Privacy Policy describes how Private Venue (privatevenue.ai), operated by Private Venue Management LLC ("we," "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website, submit an inquiry about an event, or, as a venue owner or operator, apply to or participate in our venue partner plans.

Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry, we collect the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, and event details such as event type, date, time frame, guest count, budget, and any preferred venue. When you contact us by text message, phone, or social media, we collect the contact information and message content you send us. When a venue owner applies, we collect the owner's contact details and the venue details they supply.

We also record the consent you give on our forms (which boxes you checked, the wording shown, and when), and basic technical information about the submission (the page you were on and a submission identifier) so we can prove consent and prevent abuse. We do not use advertising pixels or session-recording tools on this site.

Our homepage may show the name of the city you appear to be in, derived from your internet connection by our hosting provider. This is used only to display that text; it is not stored and is not linked to you.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your inquiry, match you with venues that fit, provide pricing and availability, schedule and confirm venue tours, send tour reminders, prepare estimates and booking documents, and communicate with you about your event. Some responses are automated. For venue partners, we use your information to list your venue, route inquiries to you, and administer your plan.

Text messaging (SMS)

By providing your phone number through our forms and checking the consent boxes, or by texting us first, you consent to receive text messages from us about your inquiry and event, and, if you consented separately, marketing messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share your inquiry with the venues we match you with, because that is what you are asking us to do; those venues use it to respond to you about your event. We also share information with the software providers we use to operate our business (such as our customer management, messaging, scheduling, hosting, and payment systems). These providers are bound to use your information only to provide services to us. Payments for Membership are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.

Data retention

We retain inquiry, booking, and partner information for as long as needed to serve your event or your plan and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, including records of the consent you gave. You may request deletion of your information at any time using the contact information below.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including checking every form submission for abuse before it reaches our systems, storing secrets outside our code, and limiting who can access inquiry data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
